You cannot expect to feel good or get better if your immediate environment is filled with people who detrimentally affect your psychological well-being.
Relationships predict the quality of our lives. And sometimes, the environment we find ourselves in is the very environment that will stop us from healing, and continue to make us sick.
Whilst it is possible to repair relationships, the truth is, sometimes it’s not because relationships require the input of all sides. And when it’s only you who is willing to repair, it’s important to recognise that sometimes it’s best to change that environment.
